(Reuters) — United States network Showtime has released a sneak peek at Oliver Stone’s upcoming documentary series “The Putin Interviews,” featuring the Oscar-winning director in exclusive conversations with the Russian president over the course of two years.
According to Showtime, “Putin has never before spoken at such length or in such detail to a Western interviewer.”
Stone interviewed Putin more than a dozen times, most recently in February following the US election – which Russia has been accused of trying to sway.
“The Putin Interviews” airs in the US over four consecutive nights starting on Monday, June 12.
