President Rodrigo Duterte on Thursday, April 27 warmly welcomed His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, Prime Minister of Brunei Darussalam, and Her Majesty Rajah Isteri Saleha at the Malacañan Palace to mark the start of their state visit to the Philippines and their participation in the 30th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit and Related Meetings.
The royal couple’s welcome ceremony at the palace is followed by the signing of the guestbook and an expanded bilateral meeting between the two ASEAN leaders and their respective delegation.
