PRC opens registration for new nurses

VIGAN CITY, January 16 (PIA) – To enable passers to save on travel time and expenses, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC)-Baguio Regional Office processed initial registration for new nurses who  passed the November 2016 Board Licensure Examination for Nurses (BLEN) last Saturday, January 14.

PRC processed initial registration at the Provincial Capitol’s Conference Room in this city on a first come, first-served basis and no alphabetical queuing.

Registrants were required to bring 2017 community tax certificate (cedula), two pieces recent passport-size picture with white background and spelled out nametag (surname, first name, middle name), one documentary stamp,  and initial registration fee of P1,050.

The initial registration for new nurses was also conducted during the “Araw ng Propesyonal” on January 14 at the Municipal Hall in Baler, Aurora.

Other on-site processing will be held in the following areas: January 16 at the Municipal Hall in Dingalan, Aurora; February 4 at the Provincial Capitol Auditorium in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte; February 9 at the Candon City Hall; and February 11 at the My Metrotown Mall in Tarlac City, Tarlac.

PRC announcement shows that 6,836 out of 14,322 or 47.73 percent recently passed the BLEN given by the Board of Nursing in various testing centers nationwide. (JNPD/AMM/PIA-1, Ilocos Sur)
