PNP to use as evidence vs cops Korean’s golf set recovered from funeral parlor

MANILA, Philippines (Eagle News) — The Philippine National Police (PNP) Anti-Kidnapping Group (AKG) will use as evidence the golf set owned by the Korean-National Jee Ick Joo to the crime committed by police suspects.

The golf set was recovered inside Gream Funeral Service in Caloocan, where the dead body was brought.

Choi Kyung Jin, wife of  Joo came at the PNP office to identify the recovered evidence.  She also confirmed that the golf set was owned by her husband.

Because of this, AKG said the golf set found inside the funeral parlor can be used as a strong evidence against Retired SPO2 Gerrardo Santiago, one of the suspects.

Santiago allegedly owned the funeral parlor.  He is also a long-time friend of SPO3 Ricky Sta. Isabel, the primary suspect in the death of Joo.

Aside from the civilian witness, another policeman, a certain SPO4 Roy Villegas, who was with SPO3 Sta. Isabel when the abduction took p;lace  of the Korean businessman, was already in the custody of the Anti-Kidnapping Group.

And according to AKG, Villegas may testify against the group of Sta. Isabel.
