The number of recoveries added were 288 which brings total COVID-19 recoveries at 7,378.
But fresh cases or cases confirmed in the last three days from Metro Manila were noticeably high at 277. This number is also the highest recorded number of confirmed cases added in a single day in Metro Manila based on an analysis of previous DOH data. Before this, the highest recorded number of confirmed cases added in a single day in Metro Manila was at 254 which was reported on May 27.
