Magnitude 4.8 quake shakes Jomalig, Quezon
(Eagle News) – A magnitude 4.8 quake shook the province of Quezon past 3 a.m. Monday, April 4. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS), the quake’s epicenter was 72 kilometers northeast of the town of Jomalig. It has a depth of 16 kilometers, and is reported to be of tectonic in origin. The quake struck at 3:09 a.m., Monday. No aftershocks were reported.
