DOH sets aside Php 5M fund to address diarrhea outbreak in Zamboanga City

QUEZON CIty, Philippines – The Department of Health set aside Php 5 million in order to control the spread of diarrhea in Zamboanga City. Said city is suffering from a diarrhea outbreak as the number of patients surpassed alert levels. According to the City Health Office, from March 28 up to now, 1, 207 diarrhea cases were recorded. 4K solar flare footage captured by NASA

The solar flare was captured by NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory on April 17. It was released by an active region on the sun’s right side, causing moderate radio blackouts. This video was captured in several wavelengths of extreme ultraviolet light, typically invisible to our eyes. NASA colour-coded the images for easy viewing. Solar flares are powerful bursts of radiation – harmless to humans but strong enough to disturb GPS and communications signals. REUTERS
