Pilipinas, lalahok sa pinakamalaking maritime warfare exercise

Lalahok ang Pilipinas sa pinakamalaking maritime exercise sa June 30 hanggang August 4 na gaganapin sa Hawaii at Southern, California. Ang Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC)exercise ay magbibigay ng kakaibang training opportunity para sa mga kalahok kaugnay sa seguridan ng mga karagatan at sea lanes. Sa kabuuan, nasa 26 na bansa ang lalahok sa pagsasanay na gagamitan ng 45 mga barko, 5 submarine at 200 aircraft.
