MMDA denies removal of number coding scheme

QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) denied the viral message saying that the number-coding scheme would be removed. Department of Transportation spokesperson Cherie Mercado said that the wrong information about the removal of the number coding scheme spread quickly in the social media prompting the MMDA to act quickly in denying the wrong information. The MMDA reiterated that all its official announcements are posted only in its official website.
