Odicta spouses, dead after ambush in Caticlan

QUEZON City, Philippines – Alleged illegal drug financiers Melvin and Meriam Odicta were killed in an ambush by unidentified attackers in Caticlan port. According to Police Senior Superintendent John Jamiili, Provincial Director of Aklan Police, the Odicta spouse have just embarked from the RORO when they were ambushed. A security guard of the Caticlan jetty port reported the incident. The spouses were sent to the Malay municipal hospital but were pronounced dead on arrival.

President Duterte will give reward for the heads of police protector

QUEZON City, Philippines – President Rodrigo Duterte will give reward money worth Php 2 million for every police protector of the illegal drug trade that will be apprehended. President Duterte said that the identities of the police protectors would be more easily discovered if there is reward involved. In closing, President Duterte reiterated the seriousness of the illegal drug problem in the country and said the the apparatus of drug syndicates should be dismantled.
