Call center industry in the Philippines, not affected by independent foreign policy

QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — Malacañang says the desire of President Rodrigo Duterte to pursue an independent foreign policy will not affect the business-processing outsourcing industry in the Philippines. According to Presidential Communications Secretary Martin Andanar, American businessmen see the practicality of conducting BPO business in the Philippines, as labor cost is much lower. Also, Filipinos are very proficient in speaking English as well as in speaking in American, British or Australian accent.
