CHED issues guidelines on use of P8.8-B fund for free tuition fee program
QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) has issued guidelines on how the government will use the Php 8.8 billion higher education support fund under the government’s free tuition program for 2017. The guidelines aim to ensure that the fund–covering all students who enroll in undergraduate programs in state universities and colleges–is properly used.

House committee to probe gov’t housing projects
QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — The House Committee on Housing will conduct a more in-depth investigation of the government’s housing projects. AFP still checking if foreign terrorists were among Maute members killed in Lanao clash
