ERC confirms Meralco refund
QUEZON City, Philippines – The Energy Regulation Commission has ordered the Manila Electric Corp. to refund around Php 7 billion in supposed overcharges to consumers. Meralco customers are set to receive a 75-centavo refund for every kilowatt-hour as a result. The ERC said this will take effect in June and July.
