EU launches ‘Dieselgate’ case against Italy

BRUSSELS, Belgium  (AFP) — The European Union launched infringement proceedings against Italy on Wednesday for failing to adequately investigate emissions cheating allegations against automaker Fiat. Meningitis caused almost 180 deaths in Niger since January: UN
