Barangay chair gunned down in Batangas

(Eagle News) — A barangay chair was shot dead in Batangas on Thursday. A police report said Mario Sulit of Barangay Hugom was outside his garage when he was shot around 9 p.m. The suspects who were on board a motorcycle fled. Sulit died en route to the hospital. Authorities are still conducting an investigation into the incident.
