QC suspends gov’t work, classes for Friday, Sept. 14, and Saturday, Sept. 15

(Eagle News)—The Quezon City government has suspended government work in the city on Sept. 14 and 15. Classes at all levels in public and private schools in the city were also suspended on those days. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration has said Typhoon “Mungkhat” has entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility as of 3 p.m.

(Eagle News)–Typhoon “Mangkhut” has entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said. PAGASA said  “Mangkhut,” which is now called “Ompong,” entered PAR as of 3 p.m. A thunderstorm warning has been hoisted over Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Albay and Sorsogon; and over Metro Manila, Bulacan, Pampanga, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Zambales, Batangas, Laguna and Bataan.
