PALU, Indonesia (AFP) — The search for those killed in Indonesia’s quake-tsunami disaster was called off Thursday, despite there being around 5,000 people still missing. Two Davao judges appointed to Court of Appeals

(Eagle News) — President Rodrigo Duterte has promoted two judges based in Davao to the Court of Appeals. Bansalan, Davao del Sur Regional Trial Court Judge Loida Posadas-Kahulugan has been appointed to replace former Justice Socorro Inting. Inting is now a Commission on Elections commissioner. Davao City Regional Trial Court Judge Evalyn Arellano-Morales, on the other hand, takes the place of former Justice Melchor Quirino Sadang. Sadang retired last year.
