(Eagle News)–The Light Rail Transit 2 announced free rides to commuters on selected hours on Sunday, Dec. 30. The LRT2 management said the free rides can be availed of from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. It said this was in commemoration of Rizal Day. (Eagle News)–President Rodrigo Duterte visited on Friday night the wake of Surigao del Sur Gov. Vicente Pimentel Jr. Rep. Johnny Pimentel, the governor’s brother, posted pictures of the President’s visit. The governor died on Tuesday, Dec. 25, a day after he checked out from the hospital. He was 71. His wake is at the Manila Memorial Park in Parañaque. His remains will be flown to Surigao del Sur on Saturday.
