3.5-magnitude quake jolts Sorsogon

(Eagle News)—A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck Sorsogon early Friday, March 1. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 36 kilometers southeast of Prieto Diaz at 5:47 a.m. The earthquake, which was of tectonic origin, had a depth of focus of 3 kilometers.
