(Eagle News) — A 3.1-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Friday, March 8. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake struck 134 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 8:03 a.m. The quake, which was of tectonic origin, had a depth of focus of 9 kilometers. No damage nor aftershocks were expected.
