Comelec: Printing of ballots for 2019 polls expected to be completed before April 25

  (Eagle News)–The printing of ballots for the 2019 midterm elections is expected to finish earlier than the target date. According to  Commission on Elections spokesperson James Jimenez, ballot printing may be completed before the start of the weeklong holiday in April,  earlier than the initial target date of April 25. DILG files admin raps vs at least 45 mayors for allegedly failing to set up local drug abuse council

4.2-magnitude quake jolts Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)—A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Thursday, March 21. The quake hit 131 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 5:32 a.m., the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said. According to PHIVOLCS, depth of focus of the quake, which was of tectonic origin, was 119 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.
