Yellow alert hoisted over Luzon grid

(Eagle News)–The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines hoisted a yellow alert over Luzon grid on Friday, April 26. The NGCP said the alert, which means reserve power has dropped below the required level, was effective 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Available capacity was at  11,544 megawatts, while peak demand was at 10,632MW. The NGCP said details on this would be announced by the Department of Energy  later in the day.
