(Eagle News)–A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Sur on Thursday, Sept. 26. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 75 kilometers southeast of Cagwait at 4:57 a.m. Depth of focus was five kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
