The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said on Saturday, Nov. 30, that the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 10 kilometers southwest of Capoocan at 9:09 p.m. Depth of focus was 7 kilometers. An intensity II was felt in Capoocan. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
