3.1-magnitude quake jolts Leyte

(Eagle News)–A 3.1-magnitude earthquake struck Leyte on Friday night, Nov. 29. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said on Saturday, Nov. 30, that the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 10 kilometers southwest of Capoocan at 9:09 p.m. Depth of focus was 7 kilometers. An intensity II was felt in Capoocan. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
