4.0-magnitude quake hits Batanes

(Eagle News)–A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck Batanes on Thursday, Feb. 6. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 3:22 a.m., had its epicenter 74 kilometers southwest of Sabtang. It had a depth of focus of 22 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
