PAGASA: ITCZ to bring rains, thunderstorms over Visayas and Mindanao

QUEZON City, Philippines, September 15 (Eagle News) — The weather bureau on its Tuesday forecast said that cloudy skies with light moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms will be experienced over Visayas and Mindanao and the Province of Palawan.

These cloudy skies with light moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms experienced in the provinces of Visayas and Mindanao was due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

PAGASA added that fair weather with partly cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms will prevail Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.

Meanwhile, light to moderate winds blowing from the northeast to the southeast will prevail over Luzon and coming from the southwest to west over the rest of the country. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate. (PAGASA)
