Alleged right hand man of drug lord in NBP nabbed

(Eagle News)–Authorities seized P204 million worth of suspected illegal drugs from a condominium unit in Pasig on Monday night.
The 30 kilos of suspected shabu were confiscated from inside tea bags in a suitcase of Manolito Carlos, the alleged right hand man of a drug lord committed inside the New Bilibid Prison, who had been found inside the Sorrento Oasis Residences on C. Raymundo Avenue, Pasig City.
The authorities had conducted the operation there at 7:40 p.m. by virtue of a search warrant.
“Siya (Carlos) ang pinaka main contact o main distributor na nandito sa labas, so tinatawagan siya para kunin kung asan yung item at ito ang ginagawa nyang bodega itong unit na ito and then tatawagan din sya kung saan dadalhin itong mga items na ito per order,” National Capital Region Police Office chief Guillermo Eleazar said.
Authorities did not identify the drug lord though.
Carlos, for his part, did not deny the allegations against him, saying he earned P200,000 for every block of shabu he delivered.
“Tanggap ko na yung pagkakahuli sa akin para matigil na rin..Malaki ang takot eh kaso lang po medyo medyo may pangangailangan kaya napasubo na din may mga sakit kasi kami,” he said.
He is facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act. With a report from Earlo Bringas
