Over 60 percent of takers pass Pharmacist Licensure Exam

(Eagle News) — Over 60 percent of those who took the March 2019 Pharmacist Licensure Examination passed, the Professional Regulation Commission said on Tuesday, March 12.

According to the PRC, 2,100 out of 3,234, or 64.9 percent, had a passing rate in the test administered in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

Julienne Nicole Chua Dela Cruz of the University of the Philippines in Manila topped the exam, with a rating of 92.7 percent.

She was followed by Khlarica Rygine Aquino Furigay of the Trinity University of Asia in Quezon City, with a rating of 92.0 percent; and by Jonas Angeles Aquino, also of UP Manila, with a rating of 91.8 percent.

Pauline Rose Navales Flor of the University of San Agustin was in fourth place, with a rating of 91.6 percent; Patricia May Geronimo Arellano and Sarah May Laguador Obmana, both of UP Manila, were in fifth place, with a rating each of 91.5 percent; and Alison Mary Albesa Docena, also of UP Manila, was in sixth place, with a rating of 91.4 percent.

UP Manila graduate Lance Gerik So Chan was in seventh place, with 91.32 percent; University of Sto. Tomas graduate Alexandra Kay Tengco Co was in eighth place, with 91.2 percent; and UP Manila graduate Karl Ian Hernandez Maliwat was in ninth place, with 91.17 percent.

Abraham Juan Resuello of the Lyceum Northwestern University in Dagupan was in tenth place, with 91.10 percent.
