Only 17.19 percent of takers of exam for local treasurers pass

(Eagle News) — Only 533 out of 3,100 passed the Basic Competency on Local Treasury Examination in June.

The Civil Service Commission said the figure represents only 17.19% of the total number of examinees.

Grace Quintana from Davao region and Jed Dares Tonogan from Western Visayas, bested the examinees, with an 89.73 rating each.

Other top performers were Anna Liza Gaspar (Ilocos region) with 89.19 percent; Bernadette Duya (Central Luzon) and Eddieflor Laurejas, Jr. (Eastern Visayas)  with 88.38 percent each; Arminda Madayag (Southern Tagalog) and Syebelle Wanchakan (Cordillera Administrative Region) with 88.11 percent each; Diana Rose Lagos (Davao region) and Imlyn Parapina (Southern Tagalog), with 87.84 percent each; and Fah’D Bubonga (Davao region) and Shiela Mae Mercado (Northern Mindanao) with 87.57 percent each.
