On its 105th year, Iglesia Ni Cristo in 152 countries, continuing to help communities worldwide

The Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) is now in 152 countries and territories, and continues to help various communities worldwide, as it celebrates its 105th anniversary on Saturday, July 27, 2019.

INC minister Bro. Edwil Zabala from the Church’s Public Information Office explained how the Church and its members worldwide are fulfilling the biblical doctrine to love their fellowmen.

This is through various socio-civic and spiritual upliftment activities such as in “Aid to Humanity” events including in those areas hit by calamities, he said.

“We extend help and assistance not just to fellow Filipinos, but to our fellowmen outside the Philippines whenever they are in need,” Zabala said.

He said that INC Executive Minister Brother Eduardo V. Manalo is leading the Church’s efforts in extending a helping hand to those in need.

“If the Church Of Christ is doing this, this also means you can do this also,” Zabala said.

He explained that more that this, the Iglesia Ni Cristo also “provides faith-based support even to those who are not members of the Church.”

The INC currently has more than 7,000 places of worship all over the world, he said.  Its members belong to 147 various races and nationalities.

“Those worship services are open even to non-members.  We extend an open invitation to those who are not yet members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo to join us in such congregational activities so that they will hear about what the Lord God has plans for us,” he said.

Zabala explained how God’s words “offer hope.”

“They strengthen us, that part of us that is often ignored,” he said.  “We need to have hope.”
