MANILA, Philippines, August 10 (Eagle News) — Filipino Olympian skater Michael Christian Martinez won the Asian Open Figure Skating competion which was held in Bangkok, Thailand.
He won 188.53 in the Senior Men’s Category, beating skaters from Japan, Australia and others. Martinez was the sole representative of the Philippines in the recently held Sochi Winter Olympics in Russia.
