No classes declared in Metro Manila, other Luzon provinces affected by storm “Falcon”

(Eagle News) – Classes were declared suspended in many areas affected by tropical storm “Falcon” today, Wednesday, July 17 because of the expected heavy rains as the storm further enhanced the effects of ther southwest monsoon.

Classes in all levels are suspended in the following areas in Metro Manila:
• Quezon City
• Makati
• Manila
• Marikina
• Pasig
• Mandaluyong
• Muntinlupa
• Pasay
• Caloocan
• Taguig
• Pateros
• Valenzuela
• Malabon
• Las Piñas
• San Juan
• Parañaque
• Navotas

The provinces with no classes on all levels are in:

• Abra
• Apayao
• Cagayan
• Capas, Tarlac
• Cavite
• Rizal

Certain towns in affected provinces also suspended classes in all levels. These are:

– Tabuk in Kalinga
• Negros Occidental
– Bago City
– Cadiz City
– San Carlos City
– Sipalay City
– Himamaylan
– Ilog
– Isabela
– La Castellana
– Moises Padilla
– Murcia
– Valladolid

• Pangasinan
– Bani
– Binmaley
– Burgos
– Manaoag
– Mapandan
– Mangaldan
– San Fabian

Meanwhile, there are no classes from elementary to senior high school in Angeles City, Pampanga, while no classes were declared only in the elementary level in Bautista, Pangasinan.

There are no classes from pre-school to high school in the following areas:
• Pangasinan
– Anda
– Calasiao
– Dagupan
– Infanta
– Lingayen
– Malasiqui
– Mangatarem

• Negros Occidental
– Bacolod City
– Talisay City
– Sagay City
– Binalbagan

There are no classes from pre-school to senior high in the following areas:
• Capiz
– Roxas

• Iloilo
• La Union
– Bacnotan

• Pampanga
– Alaminos
– San Fabian
– Sual

There are also no classes from preschool to elementary in San Jose City, in Nueva Ecija.
