News in Photos: Lapeña files counter-affidavit in alleged shabu in magnetic lifters case

(Eagle News) — In these pictures taken by Eagle News reporter Moira Encina, former Customs Commissioner and now Technical Education Skills Development Authority Director General Isidro Lapeña is seen filing his counter-affidavit in the cases filed against him in connection with the supposed discovery of illegal drugs in magnetic lifters last year, on Thursday, Feb. 21.

Lapeña was accompanied by his lawyer  John Telan during the filing in the Department of Justice.

The NBI has charged Lapeña with two counts each of graft, dereliction of duty, and grave misconduct.
