New drug matrix released, tags De Lima, Baraan

(Eagle News)– President Rodrigo Duterte released the promised drug matrix showing the involvement of Senator Leila De Lima and former Justice Undersecretary Francisco Baraan in illegal drug trade inside the National Penitentiary.

The matrix also showed the connection of De Lima’s driver and alleged lover Ronnie Dayan, Pangasinan Representative Amado Espino, Jr, Pangasinan Provincial Administrator Rafael “Raffy” Baraan, retired Gen. Franklin Bucayo and Pangasinan Board Member Raul Sison.

Illustrated in the matrix, Dayan is a ‘case-fixer’ of known politicians in Urbiztondo, Pangasinan.

Bucayo was assigned as Philippine National Police Region 1 director through connections with De Lima. He resigned as chief of Bureau of Corrections due to accusations of involvement in narcotics trade.

Francisco Baraan allegedly coordinated with Bucayo, while his brother Rafael was allegedly used by Espino to hide his illegal activities. Rafael was dismissed by the Office of the Ombudsman due to his muddling in black sand mining and quarrying.

According to the matrix, Espino is involved in black sand mining, quarrying and jueteng, and was tagged as ‘ richest politician in the Northern Luzon’ due to unexplained wealth.
