NBA: Shaq Statue Unveiled; Lakers Edge Out Timberwolves 130-119 in OT

It was a great day for the Lakers Organization and all Laker lovers as the day started with the unveiling of Shaq’s statue and ended with a 130-119 Laker win over the Timberwolves in their first overtime win of the season.

Part Filipino Jordan Clarkson had a career high 35 points and went 8/10 from the 3 point line. Clarkson, who struggled in his last game, said Coach Walton talked to him about “confidence stuff” to give him a boost in tonight’s game.

Julius Randle pitched in a double double with 23 points and 12 rebounds. For Minnesota, Andrew Wiggins had a game high 36 points and Karl Anthony Towns had 25 points and 13 rebounds.

The building erupted at half time when Shaq addressed the fans and spoke fondly of his days as a Laker.

The Lakers and Timberwolves play 3 more times before the season ends.
