NAIA passengers vigilant against return of “laglag-bala” scheme

QUEZON City, Philippines – Passengers in the Ninoy Aquino International Airport once again wrap their baggages in masking tape and plastic to avoid being victimized by the alleged return of the “laglag-bala” scheme after a passenger, 75-years old Salvacion Cortavista was spotted carrying a bullet. According to the Philippine National Police Aviation Security Group, there is a possibility that the bullet was not detected in the initial inspection and only detected in the final inspection.
