MRT-3 operations briefly interrupted after train suffers electrical failure

(Eagle News) — Metro Rail Transit-3 operations were briefly interrupted on Tuesday, March 5, after one of the trains suffered an electrical failure.

Merrowen Mendoza, MRT-3 communications officer, said authorities were forced to remove a train from the main line following the electrical failure at the interstation of Quezon Avenue and North Ave. at 7:47 a.m.

No passengers had to be offloaded.

Operations resumed three minutes later, Mendoza said.
