MMDA nixes ‘viral message’ about number coding

(Eagle News)– The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Wednesday calls on a ‘viral message’ spreading that it has cancelled the number coding scheme.

The MMDA issued a statement to “debunk a certain viral message being spread and shared on social media and Viber regarding alleged MMDA proposals on traffic.”

The MMDA reminded that all official announcements of the agency are only released through its website and social media accounts.

“MMDA is reminding the public to be wary of spreading information that does not come from official sources, or does not indicated any source whatsoever,” it added.
