MMDA: Expect stop-and-go scheme in parts of Edsa on Wednesday as SEA Games ends

(Eagle News) — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority will implement a stop-and-go scheme on Edsa and other major roads on Wednesday, Dec. 11, as the 30th South East Asian Games draws to a close.

In an announcement on its Facebook account, the MMDA said the scheme will be implemented in the following:

  • Entrance of Ayala and Shaw Boulevard tunnel/underpass, northbound lanes
  • After Shaw and Ayala underpass, southbound lanes

The MMDA reminded motorists to avoid the yellow lane, which will be used by delegates of the biennial event.

Over 8,000 athletes and sports officials were in the country for the 30th SEA Games.
