(Eagle News)– A missing helicopter with the remains of its two pilots were found at Doña Remedios Trinidad, Norzagaray, Bulacan.
The private helicopter, with body number RPC2688, crashed last August 22 after taking off from Metropolitan Water Works and Sewerage System compound in Norzagaray.
The troops of the Alpha Company of the 48th Infantry Battalion found the remains of retired Col. Miguel Logronio and Jay Gregorio in Sitio Macua, Barangay Kabayunan in Doña Remedios Trinidad town Saturday.
The helicopter was used in a search, rescue and retrieval operation for the personnel trapped inside the Sumag River Diversion Project tunnel last August 22.
It lost contact with the control tower after just a few minutes.
