JULY 13 (Reuters) — Miss Oklahoma Olivia Jordan was crowned Miss USA 2015 on Sunday (July 12) after a pageant that saw some of America’s most beautiful women parade in bikinis and ball gowns.

A new Miss USA is chosen during the popular annual pageant that is co-owned by U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump. The program, which is airing for the first time on Reelz, was dropped by broadcaster NBC because of inflammatory remarks Trump had made about Mexican immigrants.

Jordan, 26, a model and a Health Science student at Boston University was chosen by a judging panel from 51 contestants representing all US states and the District of Columbia.

22-year-old Miss Texas Ylianna Guerra came in second.

Contestants must be aged between 18 and 27, unmarried and have no children.
