Mindanao remains ISIS-free according to Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao Governor Mujiv Hataman.He added that only the Abu Sayyaf Group and the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighers are currently found in the region but there are no ISIS members.
He has already met with government officials, authorities and local government units and there are no confirmed reports of ISIS presence in the region.
