Moreno on Wednesday, March 11,  submitted himself to testing by Department of Health (DOH) officials under the supervision of Assistant Director Paz Corrales for coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

“I just submitted myself to be tested by the Department of Health,” he said during a meeting with Vice Mayor Maria Sheilah “Honey” Lacuna-Pangan and directors of the city’s six district hospitals

“Prior to my arrival, I already requested the DOH for me to be tested,” he added.

Moreno went to London to discuss crime prevention to national security and urban regeneration to public health administration with the United Kingdom government officials.

He also discussed preventive measures against COVID-19 with senior officials from the UK government, the Manila City government advisory said.

On Tuesday, a health minister in the UK department, British MP Nadine Dorries, has tested positive for coronavirus raising concerns about whether senior government figures have been infected.
