(Eagle News)–The Light Rail Transit 1 clarified on Friday, Feb. 22, that certain liquids were allowed in its trains.

In a Tweet, the LRT-1 said those allowed were breastmilk in bags, infant formula, medicines, alcohol and perfume for as long as they go through the necessary “security check.”

“What are prohibited are bottled drinks, with the exception of infant nutrition and medicines,” the LRT-1 said.

“If you have drinks stored in a tumbler, please finish the drink before going to the station,” it added.

The LRT-1 issued the clarification after the Metro Rail Transit 3 and the Light Rail Transit 2 lifted its ban on liquids.

The MRT-3 said liquids beyond 100 milliliters were now allowed for as long as they are verified to be safe in front of security personnel.

The ban was imposed in the train systems after the Jolo, Sulu blasts that killed at least 23.
