LPA seen east of Zamboanga City but is forecast to dissipate; cloudy skies, isolated rains to prevail

(Eagle News) – A low pressure area was spotted some 40 kilometers east of Zamboanga City, Zamboanga del Sur, as of 3 a.m., Friday, July 5,  PAGASA said.

This LPA, however, is not likely to develop into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.  It will weaken and dissipate in the next few days, forecasters said.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms, according to the latest PAGASA advisory.

Zamboanga Peninsula, Bangsamoro, Northern Mindanao and SOCCKSARGEN will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms caused by the LPA east of Zambonga del Sur.
