Makati Mayor Junjun Binay questioned the legality of his suspension by the DILG.
Binay added that it is baseless and illegal. He added that his camp is still waiting for the decision from the Court of Appeals regarding their request for a temporary restraining order or TRO against the Ombudsman’s orders to suspend him.
Binay also appealed for the public’s understanding as the Makati City Hall’s services are temporarily affected due to the implementation of the suspension order.
