Indigenous people ask Congress to pass BBL

QUEZON City, Philippines, April 22 (Eagle News) — A group of indigenous people from Mindanao asked the Congress to pass the Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL), adding that said law is the only way to solve the peace problem in Mindanao, not only for the Muslims but for the indigenous people as well. They also asked the Congress to pass all the provisions in the BBL, especially the one which provides for tribal universities which will help them preserve their traditions.
