Warner Bros. has given a sneak peek at their upcoming “Tarzan,” releasing a trailer for the summer 2016 film on Wednesday (December 09). Starring Alexander Skarsgard in the title role and directed by “Harry Potter” veteran David Yates, the film has been gaining a bit of a soiled reputation well in advance of its release – with various media reporting that the studio is busy trying to rework the reported 180 million dollar project because it didn’t fare well with test audiences.
The story follows the vine-swinging hero after he has been acclimated to civilized life in London, only to be called back to the jungle to investigate suspicious activities.
The film also stars Margot Robbie, Christoph Waltz, and Samuel L. Jackson. (Reuters)
