(Eagle News) — The House of Representatives committee on justice which is hearing the impeachment complaint against Supreme Court Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno wants to know more about the psychiatric records of the chief magistrate, and has summoned the doctors who had earlier examined her.

This is to clarify what the complainant lawyer Larry Gadon had included in his complaint that Sereno failed the psychological evaluation administered by the Judicial and Bar Council. Sereno allegedly got a grade of 4 with 5 as the lowest score.

The committee issued a subpoena for the two pyschiatrists who allegedly gave her a low grade on the psychological test when Sereno was still applying for the post of Supreme Court chief justice in 2012.

The two doctors’ contracts were allegedly not renewed later by the JBC.
