The mobilization of a total of 60,000 people and resources from 21 government agencies already started early this week.
This was confirmed by Interior and Local Government officer in charge and ASEAN 2017 Committee on Security, Peace and Order, Emergency Preparedness and Response Chairman Catalino Cuy.
Philippine National Police Chief Director General Ronald Dela Rosa also said that they have not received nor detected any clear or imminent danger during the 31st ASEAN Summit and Related Meetings.
